If no info coming from here,why not try the world seafishing website,theres plenty of views on that site regarding the akios shuttles.

a good friend of mine bought a shuttle a few months back and had nothing but trouble with it. at times it would,nt reel in. he ended up trading it in and buying a 6500 and has,nt looked back. my advice is buy a 6500. hope im not to late with my reply

thanks man!!!!! ya thanks to the sportscast lads AGAIN for the advice on these reels i avoided them and got myself a tsr and love it, its a dream ta use!!!!!!!!

Reels are not very good at all. A lot of problems with them. Better to wait until they sort the problems out

i tested the prototype of this reel , we made a few reccomendations , and sent the reel back , then they released them to the shops without testing the production reel :( :( :( :( bad move akios :( thats when my association ended with akios 8) thank god 8)

thanks for advice again mr gormley i put up this post ages ago some people still posting on it, but as u know i got the abu tsr in the end, hanks for the advice on that 2..............
