got this reel.i know its a fairly budget reel but what i want to know is it anyway decent or will i be lucky to get the cod season outta it?

i think anything out of the abu stable should be half decent look after it and it will serve you well :wink:
i have a cardinal 66X that i got new in 1977/78 and its still working perfect 8) :D

ok thanks.i wasnt sure as it was only 50 quid down from 75.usually ya get what ya pay for

I bought a cardinal in 98 ,grand reel it pulled in a double figure bass and plenty of decent pollack ,even a large conger,but was finally sent to valhalla by a bloody seal in skerries ,gears stripped,so u should get a few years out of it anyway :D
