At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Have noticed that the smaller reels perform better for distance casting 100+yds up to 30yds extra...don't know if this is to do with the smaller reels a more inline with the eyes and closer to the butt!...not advising ye to get small reel but consider one step down from big pit type... best luck ...great rod... :D

ps... if yer going for a Navi make sure tis latest version (lot of old 2009 versions still selling a 2011 prices!)

To tell you the truth Shimino are one of the best reels out there IMHO :lol:
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...
