daiwa procaster x 8ft 5-30g

A friend of mine picked up this rod the other day and is looking for a nice reel to match.
Will be spinning for bass so something small and light.
Something around the 100 mark would be ideal.

Any advice would be great.

The Shimano exage would suit it down to the ground. Great silky smooth retrieve and plenty of power
2013 species : coalies,flounder(pb),whiting,dogfish,5 beard rockling
2012 species : cod,whiting,coalies;flounder,5 beard rockling,bass,dogfish,dab
