Ennereilly 12th Aug.

Small bit of that papery fibrous stuff catchin on the leader knot and one giant piece of kelp with root ball attached. Generally well fishable although I suspect there might be a bit more around tonight.

Weed In tinnabearna yesterday afternoon, fishable. Comp won with 4 flounder, no bass or hounds.

newcastle lot of heavy weed close to shore and strong run makeing it very hard fishing 13/8

coombe to roostoonstown fishable.mostly bootlace weed with the odd big clump of kelp.pretty fishless too. :roll: :roll: :roll:

fished ballytrent yesterday evening - 5 metres of weed in front had to cast over it, then fishable, but no fish :x

there are bands of weed all along the south beaches lately.they seem fishable with a long cast its reeling in thats the problem.wind isgoing to change on the weekend which could turn things nasty again.
