Tuna mayhem

With the anticyclone last tuesday,we decided the weather was suitable to try again for the tuna.
So we departed portmagee at 02:30 and headed for the edge of the shelf ie 65 mikes to the west.
here are some pics of the day.

Is there any charter for Tuna available?

Brilliant. Well done lads. Beautiful fish. Glad to see ye made the most of the break in the weather.
Species 2014: whiting, coalie, pouting, codling, pollack, ballan wrasse, dab, poor cod, mackerel, grey gurnard, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse, launce, common skate, bass, scad, garfish, blue shark

Species 2015: Ballan wrasse, poor cod, pollack, ling, flounder, turbot, mackerel, whiting, lsd, dab, grey gurnard, pouting, cuckoo wrasse, cod

Thats pure class as usual lads,but please don't bring Rob anymore this year as i need my shorefishing buddy back for all the 1lb codling and 6ozs whitting on the way to De Wall soon :lol: :lol: :lol:

Well done lads bloody brilliant, just as a matter of interested has anyone on this site caught tuna like those or any of a similiar size in ireland, please specify private boat or charter.

Fantastic fishing! I reckon Ireland has the best boat & shore angling in Europe. Let's keep it that way.
