Tackle Sales?

Seems to have been a few good sales on recently lads? Anyone know if the one in Rory's is still on?

Was in Henry's yesterday, and he has 15% off all purchases at present. Could have run amok but deliberately left the credit card at home!

If anyone is interested he has some rods which are 50% off - There were 4 or 5 Fladen Warbirds going for 60 euro each, and I also saw an ABU Ultracast FS beachcaster reduced from 215 to 108. Nice rod actually. Think he has a Penn Venom in there somewhere too, and several boat rods. He also has a penn prion 7400RD spinning reel, it's down from 130 to 65, well worth a look, it's a lovely reel (use one for plugging myself).

it might be worth dropping in if you fancy splashing some cash!

I've noticed alot of discontinued penn rods like the venom still being sold in Irish shops. Just because a rod is discontinued doesn't mean its any worse but does mean by right there should be discount on it in the first place. I noticed a penn Vendetta appeared in a local takle shop selling for 225 euro which is way over the odds even when it was still in the product range.

Cheers for the advice, I was in Temple bar the other day and decided I would be strong and didn't go in, walked straight past it, didn't know there was a sale though :oops:

I was aware of something like that but with delivery it would come to something what I paid + I know where to bring it if something go wrong :))
