Achills fishing

#1 Post by cd07 »

Hey guys I was down in achill fishing over the weekend there and I was a bit shocked at the quality of the fishing. Iv fished there a lot over the years mostly lure fishing for pollack and it used to be brilliant but I was really disappointd this time around. I did get a few pollack and mackerel and a few coalies as well as an octopus on a kilty! but nowhere near the numbers or size of other years. I did watch a trawler fish keem bay and all along the cliffs towards the Eire rocks maybe this is whats happening?
