East Cork - How does it fish in South Westerlies/Westerlies?

#1 Post by MackDublin »

Thinking of heading down to East Cork to do some bait/lure fishing this weekend.
The forecast looks like strong South Westerlies during the week dropping back to moderate Westerlies by the weekend.
Can any of the lads down that end let me know what this means for fishing conditions in East Cork?
Is the water likely to be very coloured?

Thanks
Colm

A lot of weed on some beaches recently,if the wind kicks up lure fishing could be hard and frustrating if it were myself id be gearing up for a bit of beachfishing.

a little bit of weed around but you can find clear spots fished last night and no weed at all
