Report: After the last 2 days in the kayak it was time for a rest.....see report under kayak & small boat section.
Weather was not great for lure fishing today but at 18.00 decided to head over to the rocks for a few quick casts. There was a lot of weed and the Kilty was pulling in bundles of it as it was near the surface. On went the X-layer and bang, first cast with it, Mr Bass came charging out at the lure.
Next thing I knew there was a wave up over my knees and it was time to depart.
Hopefully the wind will ease off tomorrow.
