West or South West coast in May

Hi to you all from a newcomer and a novice angler. Actually I have been fishing for years (mainly lure) but with little knowledge and even less success. NW Scotland is where we usually end up but are thinking of trying the West or South West of Ireland this year. Hols will be in May. I would be grateful for any advice on marks and good self catering cottages.... must be quiet, don't like neighbors on holiday. Apart from the odd angler that is! I look forward to hearing your suggestions and many thanks

Could do worse than west cork (Clon/courtmacsherry etc). Plenty of accomadation and buckets of fishing
