Report: we decided earlier on in the week to head for greystones for a change of scenery in high hopes of hounds and of bigger and better things but it never happened we did manage to wrangle a few species out of this near barron fishing ground,s we taught fishing was slow to say the least, untill we heard from a few other boats that were out lads were struggling to get a few fish,i had 7 hounds to about 5.5lb these were the highlight of the day, wont be rushing back untill things improve

sad to see a place that was once the jewel in the crown of the east coast empty.with out the mussel beds and whelks there is nothing for the fish to hang around for.nice bit of fishing all the same or as jim from cork would say "ah the peace and quiet of been out"
