well were to start we were in the water for 6am today was a day for trying marks for rosslare comp this year im fishing with tony & sue tait on predator 2 on there 195 looking forward to it . i had my own marks to try on a few species that had eluded predator 2 macs were scarce at first but we got them we had plenty of bait first decent bite was huss we had a few up to 9lb lots of lsd and ballans from the mark quick move we picked up cod and ling on the drift . we anchored up on a mark goldsinny and corkwings in size plenty of them and ballans rod thumping up to 4 lbs on crab .another move put us on clean ground were tony picked up turbot will leave that one and after another drift we picked up plaice and dabs back out again to a mark some decent cuckoo and ballans we moved back in drift had gone so we had a slow drift were we picked up red and grey gurnards and more dabs we had live macs in the live well for 5 hours great job brought home a few decent cod for the table and fresh macs boat ran like a dream today seen a few tall ships in the distance few other boats out nice to get a day in with all this unsettled weather few pics tony has a thing for reel porn

hi twinkle there are 33 boats fishing this year and it could be the last comp as the people that run it are stepping down bad news for the comp tbh a good top 10 finish would be nice a lot of work put in for the comp by everyone but a great comp just the same

great days fishing, fine boat and that bait well looks really Good. Great result with the species caught in 1 session. Lov it wen a plan comes together.

not a good idea wearing waders in a boat mate, if you did happen to go over, it would make life very difficult indeed
