Nice report zud, nice to put names to faces, pity none of the big flats or rays played ball, but great craic was had by all.

32cm flounder zud, that extra centimeter counts mate, well so i've heard any ways :P

We stopped at Fahan after the comp to get the burgers and sausages on, we were all starving. Ended up just fishing it, conditions were perfect so was the fishing  report will follow.

11 Anglers in total Brian, not as many as expected but still everyone seemed to have a great day, no blanks so that's always a good sign.

great to meet you zud and lazz. always good to put names to faces :P :P . it was just a pity the bigger fish had other ideas on the day  , but sure you can't win them all. dawsey did us proud getting the win with his last cast. the look on jordan's face was priceless when dawsey reeled the winning fish in as he thought he had it in the bag all day with his 25cm flounder   . and a big thank you to pete and cathal for putting up the prizes out of thier own pocket, top men 8) . hopefully the whip round we did for the RNLI will be put to good use. i've never had to avail of their services (and hopefully never will) but they should be given our full support as people frequent the coast on a regular basis. i like the motto of "always support them, but pray you never need them".
good to see old friends and make new ones too
