North Down Mackerel
How early do the Mackerel show? I normally fish the North Down shoreline of Belfast Lough during the summer months.

Water is not warm enough yet id say the end of the month you could see the 1st ones appear.
Species 2011: [color=#FF0000]Bass (FINALLY), Mullet, Flounder, Mackeral, Pollock, Coal fish.[/color]

From speaking to people who fish around the antrim coast they are coming inland start of June.
