keel band on orkney longliner

Does anybody know where i could get 25mm x 5mm brass or stainless steel strip? When i bought the boat it needed the keel band replacing , when i done this job i didnt know anywhere that sold the brass or stainless so i fitted plain steel, now a year on its badly rusted. I did treat the metal but i have a habbit of beaching it on the slip then jumping out to get the van so its taking the paint off.

I got some stainless off them last year (or the year before). Seemed to have all sorts of metalwork then.. If they can't sort you, they probably can tell you who can if you ask.

Try wmb in the belfast harbour estate ,theyr'e stainless suppliers ,contact kissmywrasse from the forum ,he works there should be able to point you in the right direction .
