Is a license required to fish for Sea Trout in salt water?

That is right, you need a State licence to fish for sea trout be it in fresh or in sea waters.

What if you werent fishing for Sea Trout and caught one, had no licence and you werent able to get the hook out because they swallowed it? What can you do in that situation?

Swallowed hooks are easily removed with a disgorger, otherwise cut the line :roll:
