Well done, good pics of a big eel and lovely scorpion too, nice.
2013 Sea Species:- Bass, Flounder, 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Whiting, red gurnard, grey gurnard, Pollack, coley, mackerel, sea trout, cant remember cos I didn't update at the time.....
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.
2011 Sea species:- codling, L.S. dogfish, coley, whiting, pollack(4lb 3oz), sea trout, shore conger eel (15lb), ballan wrasse, grey gurnard, plaice, dab (and lobster).
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.

great fishing man!!. lovely conger and a cracking sea scorpion 
a very well written report, almost felt like i was there man, congrads. funny you should mention about using the coalie for conger bait. we caught more last year on coalie and pollack than we did on mackeral 
we were fishing red bay at the start of this year when a party of boat anglers came back in after a days skate fishing. they were using 2lb coalies for skate bait as it was outfishing the mackeral too. weird or what . as for the bison boat/spin rod. i got one too off ebay for £30 
i'm taking it to norway with me on thursday, so it will be put through it's paces from the boat and shore, but there was pics of the buyer i got it off catching a 100lb+ skate on it. so it should handel anything the irish coast can throw at it easy enough
