Cockle lake Sandymount Strand????
Does anyone know of cockle lake out at Sandymount Strand? I was told its a channel of deeper pools that remain flooded at low water levels but have no idea of where they are and I've been living in and around Ringsend for about 15 years.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Do you go out from the shellybanks side or the sandymount strand side? Just re-read your post, know where i am now. Thanks for that. Looking forward to it, heard some so-so reports from it but not anything on the large scale. Here's hoping. Thanks again
