how old are you ? its not about gold medals , its about the bomber rig lifestyle ! only those who expierienced the bomber rig first time round will understand ! it was a way of life back then , i bet many a kid was concieved while the items of the bomber rig were laid out on the table

well kept secret and little known fact is , proper match whiting live 207yards from the shore line , tests proved that the " bomber " rig was the only rig to reach these extreme distances without fail !!

the bomber does it again ! was the announcement on south east radio this morning ! zoolander wins longest flat fish on sunday at extreme range with the bombber rig !!!!!!!!! i heard on a news report on saturday night that there was a warning to all east coast whiting to stay outside of the 207 yard range and i believe only one foolish whiting didnt hear the radio report ,

Tied for longest Flat but yes it's true, a last ditch attempt at extreme range with the Bomber rig produced the fish.

Only one 18cm whiting caught all day They must of read this thread and scarpered outside the 207 yards.

According to John Bermingham the whiting he caught muttered "the bomber rig, the bomber rig anything but the bomber rig" as he was being chucked back!!!! John said he could see the wash off the whiting for about 207yds as it swam away like a bullet
