Re bass fishing

#1 Post by jerryfromkerry »

I have just been on to the Central Fishery Board and I posed two questions. (1) Is bass fishing banned? Answer= NO. (2) Can you use lug. Answer= YES. The closed season still applies and it is two bass per rod 40cm or over.

Was there a reason you thought bass fishing was banned or you couldn't use lug. Surely that's 2 bass per angler and not per rod. If that was the case every fella lookin to hook 'em and cook 'em would be using 4 or 5 rods.
