Ball Work - getting Back the Basics

Well this weekend has been quite hectic and I only had a short window of time to get out and have a practice session. Heading down to the local park I found that a number of the fields were being used for footy and soccer so decided that casting the ball was my only recourse.
I was good to be able to just relax and work on my foot placement , my arms and hand grip and trying to get the timing worked out on the back swing where the lead steps out at the peak of the upstroke so that it sets up outside of the tip and at the maximum arc and therefore getting the highest lead speed for the turn speed.

I didn't get everything I wanted worked out so will be hard at it in the lead up to our next comp on the 17th.

Here is some video footage showing how I went, its good to see the ball in the last few clips as you can see how it come right around in the arc and then straightens up which is what we strive for.

it still lacks any left arm pull and right arm punch to power the cast away ?

an observation for what it's worth or not, before anyone else says it! ( AG)

Your left arm seems to be completely locked all through the cast and only at the end do you unlock it when the lead is away, too late to bring it into play for the pull I'd say? Perhaps loosen up, you seem to be simply guiding the rod around the arc created and releasing without any follow through,as AG said no punch or pull.

Happy for the observations and suggestions as that is exactly what I am after. I appreciate anyone who can help with suggestions.

Will be back at it again this coming weekend and will see if I can get it sorted a bit better.
