my shakespeare 13ft salt surf snapped on me lastnight. Looking for a new rod asap. liked the rod itself but it was my 1st one so have nothing to compare it too. willing to spend 100-150 any suggestions?

When i went to cast it basically exploded when the weight began to put pressure on the rod. it was still all stuck together but shattered like a bamboo. i have a feeling it got a crack while being moved around and then just gave way with abit of force.saving private brian wrote:how did it snap may i ask.was a man power error![]()
