Duration:4 - 5 hours

Tide:in and out

Weather:misty, light breeze

Bait:rag, sand eel

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:blankety blank

Report:got to the beach at 4, just at the right time for i didnt have to pay to take my car onto the beach. . .

set up on the beach and waited. . . .and waited. . . 2 guys arrived in a van and started fishing, still i waited

left at 8pm empty handed, tho i did get to try out my new rod, and i quite like it

aye i know. . i went piking at lough egish on sunday, and blanked again lol

lol its not nice mate. never fished the beach at portstewert in my life, will have to give it a shot some time.

still at least you gt out a run this weekend

its gettin out and doing it that counts m8!!! ur always goin to get a blank sometime, ive fished portstewart beach a few times and avent got a fish yet, ud be better headding to benone r down hill m8 it fishes a whole lot better.

hard luck.there is nothing as bad as a blank.there has been a few this year.that cold snap done all of us no favours.better luck next time
