Return to the North Down Beach 02/03/11

#1 Post by Drew »

People: Dan n Drew

Duration: 6.30pm 9pm

Tide: Pushing

Weather: Freezing, no could

Bait: Lugworm and Mackeral

Rigs: Loops, 3 hook flappers

Results:

Me : 2 Whiting

Report:

After last nights foray to a North Down beach I decided we should give it another go tonight.
Baits were in the water for around 6.30pm, and practically nothing happened the whole night.
I got the 2 Whiting on Mackeral strip, was really hoping for a Flounder or 2 on the lug but they never materialised.
Ah well, good to get out again... Hopefully get up the coast at the weekend.. 8)
