Outboard Advice
I am hoping to buy an outboard soon. Will be looking for something in the 60-80 HP range. Almost certainly will go for a 4 stroke, purely for fuel economy. I am considering either a yamaha, suzuki or honda based on the advice i have been given but am open to suggestions. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Offshore 535 also known as Powerglide 535 or Jumbo 535, currently has a 75 hp mercury (running very well) but just want to upgrade a bit.

With many manufacturers offering 5 year warranties you have a great choice.
Give a good shop around.... there are good deals to be had.

Always fancied the 535 hull.
I think Uptide Girl in the picture is a Jumbo... is the hull like yours?

You will find that Evinrude ETEC injection 2-stroke beats 4-stroke for economy.beachcomber wrote:... Will be looking for something in the 60-80 HP range. Nothing wrong with 4-strokes as such, but they are heavy and sometimes this matters.
So look into weight and fuel consumption comparisons.
You could ask a diving club where they have likely used both engine types in the size you are considering and they will confirm this.

Re: Outboard Advice
Certainly does look very similar to the uptide girl. Seems to be a slight difference between the two around the bow roller area. Am trying to upload a few photos but not having much success.
