fanore beach has been very hit and miss lately - ballyreen havent heard anything from down there - the swells this weather make it very dangerous

Imho you are wasting your time fishing the rocks till it starts to warm up, you might pick up the odd pollack. Fanore is hit and miss even when it is fishing well but if you were to go early in the week you could get lucky. Try razor or sandeel. It will be full of weed at the moment but it should settle down over the next few days.

Two outings in last month...first 3 rods 'all' blank not even a bite!...second started at Black Head 4 Rods' got a great Pollock...had to move down to the flats due to high winds...blank'd the rest of the day not a bite...think water was just to cold...next outing heading for Kilrush!...best luck

I will be down on Fanore beach tomorrow ( Tuesday) if it is any good to you. Should be there from about 10 am.
