Braid to mono knot.
Right lads whats the strongest and safest knot to use to join braid to mono backing line on a fixed spool reel.
Ya should a been here last week.

the grinner to grinner is a good one and easy to tie even on a windy beach but not good unless you use a tapered shockleader,strip the first few feet of thin line off your leader to where it gets to about 20 to 25 lb bs five turns in the mono grinner and 10 in the braid ,test the knot before use ,i wrap the braid round my runner a few times and give the knot a good tug ,nothing worse than loosing a good fish cos of a dodgy knot
