not much to report unfortunately headed out at 8 and fished till 13;00 one small codling 2 mackeral plenty pouting , coalie, pollack, cuckoo wrasse , whiting, haddock, dab, all fish were small but was nice to give the boat a good run to start the year off most fish taken on lugs.

Least you made the effort Bar - not bad days fishing for this time of the year to be fair.

ya i just thought there mite be a few better edibles around ? but talking to Martyn who was out on thursday and he said it was pretty bleak too . were you out lately Rob ?

Yeah - lots of whiting and haddock but the codling and bigger pollock seem to be thin on the ground...
