People: Me, myself and I

Duration: 10.30 - 17.00

Tide: 15.15HT

Weather: Clear and fine - not too cold

Bait: Ragworm, squid, sandeels

Rigs:Pulley, bomber, 3 hook boom, 3 hook flapper

Results: Dont ask!!!!


Report:
Not a good day!!!

Fished two hours each at Red Bay Pier, The Ledges & Garron Point, several good bites but nothing taken.

I met up with a few GADSAC club members at Garron Point who had caught sod all as well (except Robert - small LS Weever). There was a serious bite which pulled the rod out of the stand (Steve H.) but the fish grounded and got snagged!!!!!

Not a very enjoyable day and the conditions were good so i expected a bit more!!!

After we moved down to glenarm steve caught a dog.

I caught a rockling+whiting+codling. A bloody good day for me after that weever. :P :D :wink: We all left after 9 PM and a couple of anglers where just setting up.

not a bad catch for your first day out.

I think it is safe to say that you are well and truly hooked now!!!!!!
