after good advice im heading to spiddal will have fresh lug crab and mackerel for bait .im heading to the pier just wanting to know is ther any other marks ther beaches rocks just dont want to blank after travelling from offaly thanks very much

use a 3 hook flapper, pop it 10 yards out, use size 4 hooks at the biggest, i like to use 6's sometimes. then put a second rod about 30-40 yards out using the same rigs. Use small neat baits and you will get plenty of fish,rockling, coalies, whiting, codling being the main fish but there are loads of others too! god luck, when are ya going?

going sunday hoping to be ther for about 8 in the morning for the day thanks for the info
