any tips on monsktown

hey lads
myself and ter are thinkinh of hitting monkstown in the morning just wondering if ya have any tips regarding this spot

life tastes better through a pineapple

speices 2011 whiting ,flounder, cod , coalie,,shore rockling , LsD,pollock,mack ,dab turbot sea trout ,bull huss ,3 rockling , wrasse

egg and my face were in alignment

i,v never fished it but if you cant cast over 120 yards into the main channel you wont hit the cod (not the big ones) its a slack water mark so a few hours either side of low or high water as the flow on the river will stop you from holding bottom,it has a reef infront of the channel and if you dont wind like a lunatic you will get snagged up fish or no fish,must fish it someday :mrgreen: (this is what i,ve been told by other anglers) ps crab no1 bait :wink:

oh yea mind the buses cos were all gods children!!!!!!!!!!!

most lads dont use em ,i do on some marks as a multi needs a lift sometimes :lol: ,a pully rig will improve your chances if you hook a big one, good luck :D

tAZ AT MOMENT THE WEATHER IS BLOWING A RIGHT OLD STORM AND RAIN ALSO. tHINKING OF HEADING OUT TO YOUGHAL TONIGHT. REPORT BACK ON THE WALL IN MONKSTOWN IF YOU GET THERE AS HAVENT FISHED IT MYSELF YET. tIGHT LINES.

it is suppose to die down so hopefully we will get a spot to cast ter is dying to catch a decent fish the poor blighter has had a very bad streak the last while. :twisted: :twisted:

help!!!!!!!d vans ready to head for cork,any tips greatly appreciated cheers,dont want to head down and have miserable fishing like last time

im telling u dom,that flash fried lug tastes very nice,mixed it with a gordon ramsey recipe,cant knock it till u try it!!iv saved some for ya :D :D
