Greys SRX 13 ft ??? Tip detection

guys. I have the Greys with couple weeks and just worried the tip detection may not be very sensitive. Now i am a novice so it may be me. Any views ?
Species 2011 - Cod, Poor Cod, Red Gurnard, Ling, Flounder, Mackerel, Pollack, Bass

I wouldn't panic just yet, I think a new rod takes a bit of time to get used to. Also I think the greys rods soften up a bit with use. When I first started out I couldn't tell the difference between wind, surf pulling the line, weed pulling the line and actual bites, now I'd now if I'd a flattie on the size of a postage stamp :lol:

Thanks Shambo. it was recommended by Dan at Halfway so he also knows what he's talking about. Will give it plenty of chances to soften up.
