can your rod freeze

just wondering can your rod tip freeze and snap was out last night and the rod was covered with frost. the eyes were full of frost and even the line had frost on it i would just be afarid it would snap when casting or landing a jaws :) :)

Don't think so!!! A lot of the new generation aircraft are constructed of mostly carbon and they can withstand temperature fluctuation of -50c to +40c in normal conditions, so I'd say your rod would be fairly safe

i have seen zippies swell with heat in the car and will not go together , that is why anyone that uses zippies has a bag off them :lol: :lol: :lol: hoping one will go toghter.
