well i presume your not going swimming :D :D so yes its a safe beach,just keep your tripod back from the edge of the water,and in this weather wear warm clothes! as for line strength,i would use 30lb line for my rig body,and a fine diameter line,.30 preferably fluro for my snoods,but any line around the fifteen lb should do,these are not a shy fish and line does not tend to put them off,but by using florocarbon then if something better like a bass or seatrout come along then you have a better chance connecting with it.dont forget if you get a seatrout then you must put it back if you dont have a seatrout licence.

have a licience doggie. I will pm you my age and then tell me your opinion. Where along the beach should I fish and where are the dangerous spots??
