Anyone know what the fishing has been like around courtown/kilmuckidge?

Fished courtown for two hours yesterday. Not a bite for me, my mate Gar hooked and lost a good sea-trout about 4lb was tail walking all the way in and came off in the surf :roll:
Moved to Morriscastle then and had a few nice dabs, rockling, small codling and a few pin whiting and a flounder then got home had a curry and contemplated leaving fishing til April :lol:

Yeah hopefully :)
Dont think i'll make it myself heading down the country, might punish myself with some Pike fishing :D

Yeah i missed a nice sea trout alright :x was'nt alot happening in courttown,but the chap in the tackle shop said there was some big flatties being caught and had'nt seen them as big in along time :)

yep definitly big flounder about courtown had dabs to 30 cm and bigger flounder, fat ones as well fished tues night last had a great session with kevin and andy, plenty of rocking about decent size as well, still waitn for the codling to show up around here 8) 8) all fish caught close range!!!!
