penn magg reel alteration

hello guys..this may be a silly question but the missus just got me a penn 525 magg reel from the states for xmas and its right hand reel..is it possible to change it to left hand reel at all..if so how can this be done...i dont really want to send it back

Is this your first multiplier? Generally multipliers will be right handed unless you happen to be left handed....?

this is my first multiplier alright,i have a abu garcia bait caster which i got from america and its left handed..i am actually right handed but i prefer to reel with my left...all my reels are left handed so it may take a bit of getting used too...

You won't be long getting used to it don't worry, after a handful of outings it'll be like second nature to you!

I was like yourself it didn't feel natural having the handle on the right but stuck with it and 3 months later it's like I've been dong it for years. Stick with it

i am the same as you. i am left handed but i use a left handed fixed spool but right handed multiplier as my hubby does
