Are there any casting meets in JUne?

We are over fishing the Berea mid june on wards and would like to sling a few leads about

I used to to the competition casting many many years ago out on Sandymount Strand,when the likes of Lee Gallagher and Andrew from Bray were about the best at it.

I can remember Andrew (big burly chap) hitting 230 yards on only his 2nd cast of the day,with a 13 foot Conoflex Scorpion casting rod.And he wasnt even puting full effort into it.

That must be at least 8-10 years ago now,maybe more?

Is tornament casting still popular these days??

it was more than that maybe close to 15 years :cry: you will have to put a name to the sp1 for me to remember :roll:
