dingle bay co kerry

#1 Post by minty »

its been a while since i've been on here due to the fact i've been working in Scotland for months and was fishing the Clyde with nothing to show for my efforts, but a change of scenery is coming my was with a move to Dingle Bay for a month, i've never been down that way before and would like some info on some handy marks as i'll only get the chance to fish after a 14 hr shift   . So a mark close by will be my only hope. Any advise would be great. What type of fish would i expect to catch in the aera?
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

Around Dingle the Lighthouse seems to be the place to be, especially for the thornbacks. Also if after conger the marina itself is a good bet.
If you're willing to travel the cliffs at ventry are amazing for pollock, wrasse etc. Just park at chuan pier and a thirty minute walk will take you to the mark in question; but a warning, these cliffs are extremely dangerous.

Try this website, it should put you on the right track, and if after flounder and bass just give me a pm.
