The wall at Monkstown is fishing very well now. I haven't heard much about other Cork marks. I'm going east tomorrow. I've seen one or two anglers out in the last week or two, so I'll give it a try myself.

How's it going Seanie, going to try for cod but am a little concerned about all the rain. will they still hold up in the estuarys or would you be better off heading for the beaches.

Re: Waterford/Cork area.
some rainfall last night and this morning gave youghal a go last night for about an hour got 1 small cod, if it was an estuary mark you were origanally planning try heading out further to the coast , if i was heading out myself i would hit a beach away from an estuary light southerlys tommorow but should still be a bit of surf with lots of colour, good luck wherever ya end upsamo wrote:How's it going Seanie, going to try for cod but am a little concerned about all the rain. will they still hold up in the estuarys or would you be better off heading for the beaches.
