Clogga Beach???

#1 Post by sparkey+1 »

Hi Lads

Was down the Arklow way today and just by chance on the way back onto the N11 I spotted a sign for the above beach. Took a drive down to it and looks quite fishable but quite a hike down from the car park, does anybody out there have any info on the beach and if there is an easier way down to the beach...... If not well the hike wil do me good :P :P :P .

Many thanks

Dave

I dont know if there is an easier way onto the beach but ive fished it a few times. it seems to fish better on a flooding tides in the evenings but ive never had any real decent fish off it. just dogs whiting dabs and flounder.
Wish list for 2015: sword tail, black Molly, horny cobbler

fished a few times there lots of flats :D rag is the main bait lug and crab just as good but would avoid using big fish baits such as mac and bluey.little bits of squid also can be effective when used with rag.best bit of the beach is when you go down the hill keep going right until you reach the end of the rocks and fish out to sea.
