flounder on soft artificial lures?

Hi all,

I'm new to fishing and still learning with help from the posts on this site. I was wondering if its possible to catch flounder on soft plastics like worms or berkley powerbaits. Would this be a good time of year to give it a go? If so would anyone have any tips on how i'd go about it. Thanks in advance.
