anyone know how the beaches around kilmore/fethard and sthelens are fishing at the moment.
and there was talk of a lot of weed in the area a few weeks ago, is it still the same

yeh it was terrible a few weeks ago. not sure about now but deffo do your research. if you get down and its still bad its unfishable... loads of excellent rock marks to spin from though :)

hows it going everyone 4 of us wer down on south beach at cahore on friday 1st oct to christen my new rod and reel on friday nite and christen it i did my first cast was around 9pm ish as the tide was startin to drop and within 5 minutes fish on and was my first ever bass and it was 5lb or so didnt end there by 1am ended up catching 4 schoolies 6 bass that weighed from 5 to just under 9lb and 3 decent size flounders kept 2 of the biggest bass and the flounders for the dinners had it yesterday bleeding lovely and returned the others i caught one of lads caught around the same it was the best shore fishing i ever did just thought id let you know were there seemed to be good fishing plus courtown and clones beach thornys are bein caught
