looking for a place to fish in youghal,cork area on saturday
what about youghal beach?

SPECIES 2011:= 2 species of rockling, colaie,codling whiting,pollock,gurnanrd,throback ray,grey gurnard
best fish 11 7 pound thornback ray

I'm not from the area but I'd say Slob bank is worth a shot for decent flounder and the "occasional" bass, but you'd want crab for bait though.

Locals may give you a few better marks.

fished the slob last week
caught loads of flounder
looking for a beach or something like that

used to to go ferry point a few years ago, you'd be looking back over at youghal from there. Never tried to fish from the beaches.

ballybranigan beach,lugworm does the job for bass...good luck..
