SWFF...making my mouth water

#1 Post by jimrad »

Hi folks...new to the forum, have been a fresh water fly fisher for a few years but am looking to change and reading these SWFF threads have my mouth watering..I have a few questions that hopefully will be answered by you guys...
* Can somebody offer a good location around in and around Dublin
* What can I expect to catch at this time of year and do you guys fish into the Winter
* My rods and reels are rated 5-6 and 9 foot in length are these suitable for SWFF?
Looking forward to some replys..
Cheers..
Jim

careful with your fresh water gear in the salt Jim - #5 and #6 might be a little light for some species but fine for mullet seatrout etc
