different tactics???

#1 Post by dac69696969 »

Hello all.
Im heading to the west coast, around tralee, in a fortnight for 3 days fishing(the 6 marks have been picked already), and it might sound like a silly question but regarding shore fishing....mainly clean beaches and estuaries....are the rigs/bead colours/blades/bait etc etc similiar to the ones I use on the east coast??? I presume they are but just dont want to turn up and have the absolute wrong gear with me and waste a lot of time down there when I could have a bait in the water. One of the organisers said a couple of the marks will be mainly flounder so I hope someone could put my mind at ease on this
Cheers

hi, i use three hook flappers with size four's, as for bait, mackerel works very well, but if you can get your hands on some rag/lug it could be worth your while.. :)
