Ireland marks
Hey i dont know too many marks and i thought it might be good idea to make a thread with a load of marks for me and begineers . If you can just post 1 or 2 basic marks ( not asking for any secret marks unless you want to ) and hopefully it will add up into a good few marks around the country
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!

Re: Ireland marks
Claremont Strand
North dublin
Howth
species - flounder- dogfish- odd bass- possible sea trout
tactics - lure fishing plugs and spinners , bottom fishing 2 hook flapper ragworm bait
bait collecting - rocks on the beach are good for collecting bait like soft backed/peeler crab , hermit crab ,mussel , limpet ,small eels and small fish
extra - heard of gurnard seen there , seen mullet jumping in channel but think they were just passing through corner nearest to howth harbour good for bass , point beside sutton golf club at entrance to the estuary in sutton is supposed to be good for decent flounder and possible schoolie bass
If you fish at this mark add on small report in post if you can
marlinman- I know about the shore marks this site and central fisheries board have but a lot of them are out of date wrong or missing good marks
for instance this mark is on the shore marks on site but it only tells you possible bass and flounder +doggies nothing on tactics / bait collection and also im preety sure its about 2 years old

Re: Ireland marks
I think concerned decent fishing folk wont be posting best fishing marks that they discover because of the upsurge in the MINIMAL few that are hellbent on abusing such information that would have been given out in good faith and sportmanship before..
