Report: Went down to broadmeadows estuary ( look at Malahide mullet marks in shore q/a for info on it ) to try and catch a thick lipped mullet . When I got down there it was absoloutly alive with mullet ,there must have been a 100 in the area i was fishing
they glided past less than a metre away from shore but totally ignored bait 
. I left the bait for about an hour and the rod suddenly arched over but it spat the hook out when i had it less than metre from the shore rest of the day the mullet gradually eased off and no more bites 
was good day fishing anyway
