or under a rock.
Samo, are you not gonna give him directions to which particular rock he should be looking under :P

colliefitz,

In all seriousness and assuming your looking for peeler crab very few, if any anglers will tell you exactly where to go to find them, given that its a precious commodity to us anglers, and their stocks/peeling season can be quite limited. Its a pricey bait to buy aswell, so knowing where are the hot spots for collecting peeler is usually a closely guarded secret, as there would be nothing worse than turning up at your chosen venue and finding that the place is empty and then having to go out and buy the damn things.

However, give a little thought to the natural habitat of crabs, the reason/process of peeling and this should give you some idea of what type of general location they can be found in. Bear in mind that a peeling crab is a vunerable crab, and knowing this the crabs would usually seek some form of shelter, under rocks, substructures, weed etc - thats where you should be looking.

I take it you know how to distinguish a peeler crab from a normal hardback?

Get out and spend a few hours scouting your local foreshore.

Hope this helps.
