I buy from these regular, bout 1.50euro for a two up trace, these are 4.60 in my local shop, decent hooks aswell. They charge about 8euro to ship and stuff usually arrives within the week.

I've ordered from from Fishing-mart recently and found them excellent but their website can be difficult to navigate. They tend to stock some brands and gear that probably wouldn't be widely available over here and basically that why I ended up using them. I was ordering a bunch of rods, reels and some other bits and pieces, everything arrived pretty quickly and was well packed. That said I think as with lots of on-line shops the cost of shipping can be prohibitive unless you're ordering a fair bit and as far as I remember these guys had some sort of fixed shipping rate, either way it worked out quite cheap on the last order but might not be so cost effective for smaller orders.

Here are a few others that I can think of at the moment:

Sea Fishing Gear Generally

http://www.veals.co.uk/

I've not done much bait fishing this year but in previous years I used to stick and order into Veals once a year to stock up on hooks, line that kind of thing and usually order a few bigger bits of tackle at the same time. I never had any problems with them and always found good to deal with.

Small Lures and Soft Plastics

http://www.agmdiscountfishing.co.uk/

Very reasonable prices and quick delivery, I've found them particularly good for small soft plastics.

Trout Flies and Leaders

http://www.dragonflies.co.uk/store/

I tend to put an order into these before the start of the season to stock up the fly box and have always found them very good to deal with.

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Yes JP, absolutely, and not only because he is a sponsor I can happily recommend Henry, bought a lot of reels, rods and terminal tackle off him, everything was delivered within 2 days max and if something has just gone out of stock, which can happen on occasion because it's sold in the shop before or whilst you have placed your web order - he phones you immediately to suggest an alternative or replacement. I always find a little freebie as well in the packet and this adds a very nice touch of personal service. Thanks for the last one Henry, I'm very happy with your service.
I really feel this had to be said here, especially because recently there were many negative comments left about Irish based tackle shops.
